Luminary Capital Management goes live with FNX risk system

New York-based Luminary Capital Management, a global macro hedge fund, has gone live with technology provider FNX’s Sierra trade management system.

FNX said the fund will use the system for trade capture, risk management and position keeping. It will support the trading of foreign exchange spot and options, equities, exchange-traded derivatives and fixed-income cash and derivatives products.

“By seeing our consolidated real-time positions we can closely monitor our portfolio management, risk and profit and loss, resulting in a reduction of operational risk that will benefit our investors,” said Andrew Lum, a Luminary Capital Management partner.
