Gartmore recruits dedicated derivatives specialists

Aisling O’Reilly joined the company this week from Goldman Sachs as derivatives manager, reporting to chief operating officer Barry Marshall. At Goldman she marketed equity derivatives to UK and Irish clients.

Tony Clark has been appointed internally as a derivatives analyst. He had been working in the performance measurement team since 1998 and also reports to Marshall.

Marshall said the pair would work closely with John Mattimore, himself a recent recruit as head of hedge fund risk, to improve the investment management framework at the company.
