Bank of America to set up global forex structuring team

Bank of America plans to set up a global foreign exchange structuring team with the appointment of Eric Ohayon from Lehman Brothers.

Ohayon spent three years at Lehman, where he set up the bank’s forex structured products operation from scratch. A spokeswoman for Bank of America in London, where Ohayon will be based, confirmed that he has been recruited to repeat the exercise. He will have the position of principal – just below managing director – at Bank of America.

Ohayon spent two years as director of forex structuring for Deutsche Bank before he moved to Lehman. He also spent a year at the German bank as director of global markets training. Prior to this, Ohayon was an academic, lecturing in finance, accounting and statistics at several universities in Paris. He also acted as director of MBA programmes for Schiller International University.
