BNP Paribas hires forex derivatives trader

Carl Nabar has joined French bank BNP Paribas in New York as a senior foreign exchange derivatives trader.

Nabar is responsible for the bank’s gold derivatives business, as well as structured and exotic forex products. He reports to Hubert de Lambilly, head of Asian foreign exchange derivatives and the bank's structured foreign exchange business. Locally, Nabar reports to Nigel Babbage, global head of forex derivatives trading and head of foreign exchange for North America.

Nabar was most recently at AIG Trading, where he held a senior position. Before that he was a senior exotic options trader at Credit Suisse First Boston.
