Fitch Ratings has appointed Jaime Sanz as a senior director to lead its London-based European structured finance emerging markets team.
He reports to Diana Turner, managing director in the agency’s European asset-backed securities group. Sanz previously worked on Merrill Lynch’s debt capital markets team in London, marketing to central and eastern European clients.Meanwhile, Andrei Gozia also joins the team as an associate director and will report to Sanz. He was formerly an analyst within the emerging markets securitisation team at the International Finance Corporation in Washington. In his role at Fitch he will be based in London.
