Eurex will next month increase the number of French companies it offers options on from nine to 36, the Swiss-German derivatives exchange said in a statement.This means that from March 10, Eurex will offer options on most CAC 40 companies to supplement options on top German, Finnish, Dutch, Swiss and Italian equities.
Eurex said trading in its French equity options segment has increased considerably in recent months. In January, Eurex traded and cleared 60,000 equity options on French blue chips, up from 11,000 for the same month last year.
