London-based interdealer broker Icap has launched an upgraded credit trading platform, including pricing information on OTC derivatives from Markit.The new platform, an updated version of Icap's ICAP-Credit electronic trading platform, will provide price discovery and trading in credit default swaps, bonds and repo agreements.
Markit, headquartered in the UK, will provide Icap with business news, independent research and pricing data on the credit market through a link between ICAP-Credit and the Markit Portal software tool.
Under the terms of an agreement signed in June, Icap also plans to link customers with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation's single-screen trade affirmation service, AffirmXpress.
