Bank of America adds eight to credit team

Bank of America (BoA) has appointed eight new staff members to its European credit business in London.

Three of the new appointments are internal. Dan Colonna transfers from the bank’s equity automotive industry group to become vice-president covering the European auto and auto parts industry; Loren Remetta moves from the credit trading team to become vice-president, focusing on European credit and US auto trading; and Robb McGregor joins from the high-yield sales team and is charged with building up the bank’s distribution platform.Meanwhile, Greg Lake joins BoA as a principal in credit sales from Caxton Europe Asset Management, where he was an investment manager. He is joined by Rebecca Clements, who has been taken on as a high-yield desk analyst covering industrials. She was previously at WR Huff Asset Management, where she was a high-yield research analyst. Alaric Hu also joins as a principal and senior desk analyst covering the telecoms, media and technology sector. He was previously a principal at Stratton Street Capital.On the trading side, Société Générale senior credit trader Marc Geffroy joins BoA as a principal and investment-grade trader; and Matthias Schwarz joins the bank as a principal and credit trader focusing on crossover credits. He previously worked as a senior crossover high-yield credit trader at WestLB.All report to Charlie Cho, head of European credit spread sales and trading.
