Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), the investment banking arm of Dresdner Bank, has appointed Robert Walsh from Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) as director and head of cash collateralised debt obligations (CDOs).Walsh spent 10 years at CSFB in London and New York. He finished his time with the bank managing the origination, structuring and marketing of CDO deals. At DrKW, he will report to Rick Weinstein, global head of credit derivatives structuring.
“Bob will play a key role in taking our innovative cash CDO business to the next level, consistent with our strategy to complement the firm’s established synthetic CDO business. This important hire underlines DrKW’s commitment to the structured credit business,” said Weinstein.
