UBS makes two hires for metals team

UBS has appointed Paul Wilkes and Clive Stocker to its metals team.

Wilkes joins the bank in August as executive director and head of base metals trading, reporting to Todd Morakis, co-head of commodities. He was previously a senior base metals trader at BNP Paribas.

Stocker will start at UBS in June as executive director of metals sales, based in London. In this position, he will concentrate on corporate clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He will report to Andrew Baldock and Alex von Moll, co-heads of EMEA metals sales. Stocker joins UBS from commodity trading firm Marc Rich Investments.
