BNP hires two from Wachovia in equities and derivatives

BNP Paribas has made two hires from Wachovia Securities for its equities and derivatives business in New York.

Brady Jenkins was working at Wachovia as a sales trader, while colleague Paul Mandell worked in single stock trading. At BNP, Jenkins joins in listed options sales and will primarily cover hedge funds. He reports to Joseph Waskas, head of US-listed options and exchange-traded fund sales.

Mandell joins in single stock options trading, and will make listed and over-the-counter markets for the bank’s clients. He reports to Greg Hurley, head of single stock options trading.
