Mizuho takes FNX for foreign exchange options

Mizuho Tokyo has upgraded to release 4.4 of FNX’s Sierra System for FX options trading. The new release has faster algorithms and architecture to accommodate Mizuho’s high volumes, FNX said.

The Philadelphia-based software company is currently adding sequential barrier models – knock-in and knock-out options – to Sierra for Mizuho’s retail products. It is also improving the system's export features to provide new greeks for Mizuho’s risk systems.

FNX also said Bangkok-based Siam Commercial Bank has selected FNX’s Sierra Treasury and First Order products for its treasury operations. FNX recently opened a support office in Bangkok
