Reporting to Thomas Whitford, PNC’s chief risk officer, he will be responsible for the oversight of all market risk related activities, including interest rate and liquidity exposure, trading and equity.

Gillani joins from Fleet/Bank Boston, where he spent eight years, most recently as executive director of global market risk management. He has also worked at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Toronto-Dominion Bank.
