Exotic derivatives head steps down at Citi

Alberto Cherubini, the former London-based head of exotic equity derivatives trading for Europe at Citi, has taken voluntary redundancy in order to pursue outside interests.

Arunesh Hari, currently a senior managing director in the equity derivatives trading team, will take over his responsibilities. He will report to Mike Pringle, head of equities trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Hari is a recent recruit to Citi, joining from Morgan Stanley four months ago, where he worked on the exotic equity derivatives desk.
