HSBC appoints global head of exotics

HSBC Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets has appointed Laurent Boscherel to the newly created position of global head of exotics, within its global structured equity business.

At HSBC, Boscherel will have responsibility for all exotic books, both index and single stocks. He joins from Calyon, where he was global head of equity derivatives exotic trading.

He will be based in Paris and report to Christophe Chazot, global head of structured equity.
