Wall Street Systems names McDermott as Japan country manager

US-based Wall Street Systems has hired Sean McDermott as its country manager for Japan, as part of its on-going expansion into the Asia-Pacific markets.

McDermott, who set up the Tokyo and Singapore offices of Philadelphia-based financial technology vendor FNX, will work out of Tokyo and has worked in Japan for the past 15 years.

“Financial institutions and corporates in Japan are looking to automate their treasury operations to make them faster and more efficient,” said McDermott.
