Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has named Chin Leng Woon as its new head of futures for Asia at its Singapore office.
Woon will cover all aspects of marketing and trade execution, including the bank's electronic trading platform. Previously, he was at ABN Amro, which he joined nine years ago from Natwest (now part of RBS), with three other team members.Woon will report to London-based William Knottenbelt, RBS global head of futures. Moving with him are futures marketers Sally Lee Ai Lau, Marilyn Tan Seow Hwee and Koh Pin Hong.
Jay Chia and Stella Gan will join the firm in Singapore from Cargill. Chia will provide technical support and advice for the electronic trading platform in the region, while Gan will run Asian clearing services.
