SunGard releases intranet version of Account Risk Module

SunGard Futures Systems, a division of US-based technology company SunGard, has released a new intranet version of its Account Risk Module (ARM), an account risk assessment tool designed for use with its GMI system for listed derivatives processing. GMI is a back-office clearing and accounting software used by futures commission merchants, banks and brokerage firms

ARM is designed to help GMI users maintain a high level of risk control by accessing data in the GMI system and peforming risk analysis on pre- or post-execution trades.

The system provides a link between front-office systems and GMI back-office data to provide firmwide evaluation on accounts, including positions, trades, cancellations, busts, option premium and offsets.

The system is available in a browser-based, application service provider delivery environment maintained by SunGard.
