Ricciardi was a senior currency options dealer for seven years at Barclays Capital in New York. He began his trading career at Merrill Lynch in 1988.

David Gershon, SuperDerivatives’ chief executive, said that as the company expands it constantly needs to recruit quality staff. “It’s not often that people with such a high level of experience and knowledge as Carmine become available,” he said.
