DrKW adds to sales and marketing in Singapore

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has hired Dahai Wang as a vice-president in its sales and marketing team in Singapore.

Wang will work alongside Yingxin Gong, also a vice-president in the team, and will be jointly responsible for marketing the full spectrum of DrKW’s capital markets products to Chinese accounts. He will report to Mahmood Jumabhoy, head of sales and marketing, Asia ex-Japan.

Dahai joins the bank from the Bank of China in Hong Kong where he has worked since 1999, most recently as a senior portfolio manager. Prior to this, he worked for the Chinese bank in Beijing as a fixed-income trader.

“Dahai's appointment forms an important part of our continued effort to expand the services we provide to the investment community in China and to broaden our franchise in that region,” said Jumabhoy.

Gong joined the firm in December last year. Previously she worked at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt on the China sales desk.
