The Singapore Exchange (SGX) has named Yeo Lian Sim as its new head of risk management and regulation.

Yeo, who will also serve as a member of the executive committee, will take up her post on July 1. She replaces Alan Shaw, who is leaving the company to return to Australia.

Yeo is currently managing director of capital resource management at Singapore-based Temasek Holdings. Before that she was head of the market conduct group at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where she oversaw the regulation of the securities and futures markets as well as managing financial market conduct. She also chaired the payments and settlements committee.
