DrKW replaces hybrid capital head

Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has hired Ronan Donohue as head of hybrid capital to replace Mark Woolley, who quit to join Deutsche Bank in September.

Donohue will report to Nick Morgan and Olivier Jalouneix, managing directors in the German bank's corporate finance and origination department.

He has joined DrKW from ABN Amro in London, where he held a similar role. Prior to that, he worked for Société Générale.

DrKW has also hired Sean McNelis in hybrid capital, who will report to Donohue. McNelis has joined from London-based corporate finance advice company Lexicon Partners, where he was responsible for execution and origination of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt transactions for the UK and Ireland. He has previously worked for Deutsche Bank.

DrKW's hybrid capital department helps banks and insurers to meet their regulatory capital requirements using sophisticated structured products.
