Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) has hired Christopher Sandford to trade Asian local market foreign exchange options in Singapore, reports RiskNews’ sister publication, FX Week .He reports to Linen Yien, head of local markets Asia-Pacific, who is located in the same centre. Sandford joins the bank from Calyon – heritage Credit Agricole Indosuez – where he was an emerging markets forex trader in Singapore.
Eddie Listorti, head of sales and trading for Asia-Pacific ex-Japan in Singapore, said Dresdner would continue adding to its local market Asia team in the coming months, although a spokesperson for the bank declined to provide numbers.
