Deutsche Bank appoints five bankers to prime finance business
Deutsche Bank Securities has appointed five senior bankers to its New York prime brokerage business.
Tom Filipovits has been appointed director in the client management group. He previously worked at Morgan Stanley’s client solutions group and at Goldman Sachs as product development manager. Filipovits will report to Timothy Lennon, head of client management in the US.
Keith Weintraub will join as a director in risk management, reporting to Satish Ramakrishna, head of risk for the global prime finance division. Weintraub joins the bank from Citigroup where he was director and head of development for the securitisation group. Before joining Citigroup, Weintraub was a quantitative risk manager at Archeus Capital Management. He spent 17 years at Citigroup in various roles within risk and analytics.
EJ Liotta will join as a director in the product development group, reporting to Mike Ginelli, global head of product development. Liotta previously worked at Merrill Lynch as a director responsible for prime brokerage technology, and at Barclays Capital in the equity finance and prime brokerage group.
John Dewey will join as a director in product management, where he will report to Jeff Dorman, head of global prime finance for North America and Chris East, director. Dewey joins from Lehman Brothers, where he has worked for the past six years in the capital markets prime services group.
