Farrell joins from Deutsche Bank in London, where he was a vice-president in foreign exchange and handled European sales for Deutsche’s forex platform. A spokesperson for Deutsche Bank in London declined to comment on whether his position there would be replaced.

Farrell will report to Bob Garzilli, New York-based executive vice president for sales and strategy.
