Deutsche Bank hires head of institutional sales in Asia

Deutsche Bank has hired Denis McCarthy as director and head of institutional sales, Asia, for its global equity derivatives business.

Based in Hong Kong, his primary responsibility will be to expand the bank's flow derivatives business including futures, options, access products and outperformance notes. He will focus mainly on institutional and hedge fund clients.

McCarthy joins the bank from Morgan Stanley where he has had a variety of positions, including head of listed futures and options and head of structured product and hedge fund sales.

At Deutsche, he will report directly to Ricardo Honegger, head of global equity derivatives Asia and Japan. He starts in his new position on June 2.
