AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has appointed Laurent Gueunier as head of investment-grade collateralised debt obligations (CDOs).
Based in Paris, Laurent joins a joint venture between the structured credit and fixed income credit team, made up of 20 specialists dedicated to the structuring of securitisations and the management of structured credit funds.Laurent will be responsible for the management of existing investment-grade CDOs (Jazz I and II and Khaleej I), and the origination and marketing of future operations. He reports to Pierre-Emmanuel Juillard, head of securitisation and structured credit and Jean-Pierre Leoni, head of credit in Europe.
Laurent joins AXA IM from JP Morgan Chase’s financial institution derivatives marketing group where he was responsible for developing the structuring and marketing of the company’s credit derivative products in France and Belgium. Previously, he spent 10 years with Société Générale, where he was a product manager and trader in the credit derivatives group.
