Cognotec boosts sales effort with new hire

Galliers will oversee Cognotec’s global sales activity and is expected to drum up new business from both new and existing clients. Before working for Switzerland-headquarterd Iris, Galliers worked for SunGard Trading and Risk Systems, a unit of Pennsylvania-based SunGard, where he was a regional managing director.

At Cognotec, Galliers will focus on promoting AutoDeal+, the company’s new component-based, foreign exchange platform.
