Merrill's Rule moves to head Lehman's forex forwards team

Merrill Lynch's Duncan Rule is joining Lehman Brothers in London as global head of forex forwards at the end of June.

The position is new - previously, global head of spot trading Steve Weller had global responsibility for forex forwards. Weller will now focus on spot forex, said a spokesperson at the bank in London.

Rule comes from Merrill Lynch in London, where he has worked since 1992, most recently as global head of short-term interest rate trading. He has also worked at Nomura.
