Aviva appoints Webber as group chief risk officer

Aviva, the London-based savings, investments and insurance group, has appointed Jim Webber as its group chief risk officer.

Webber was previously group actuary and economic capital director at Aviva. He will report to Philip Scott, Aviva group finance director, and his portfolio will include compliance, group business protection, economic capital and enterprise risk management. Webber has worked at the firm for 16 years.
