Lehman hires Shambayati as European emerging markets head

Soroosh Shambayati has been appointed as European head of fixed income for emerging markets by Lehman Brothers.

Shambayati joins from Citigroup, where he has been head of emerging market credit derivatives for the past six years. In the newly created position at Lehman, he will oversee all fixed income businesses within European emerging markets. He will be based in London and will report to Andy Morton, the bank’s head of fixed income in Europe, and to Mohammed Grimeh, global head of emerging markets.
