Wachovia CRO next to step down

Donald Truslow, chief risk officer at Wachovia, is to retire as soon as his successor is named, in the latest in a series of high-level departures at the investment bank.

Truslow was treasurer and comptroller at the bank before becoming CRO in 2000. Last week, Wachovia's chief financial officer, Thomas Wurtz, announced he would leave the bank as soon as his successor could be found. And the bank's chief executive, Ken Thompson, was forced out by the bank's board on June 2, to be replaced last month by Robert Steel.
