Andrew Tjaardstra meets Patrick Colle, chief executive of BNP Paribas Securities Services, who is focusing on 30 key global markets and managing more than €5 trillion of custody assets
is in an upbeat mood. His division at BNP Paribas had a very good 2011, despite the eurozone debt crisis – and the first quarter of this year has had a similar momentum, he claims.
BNP Paribas Securities Services saw 11% revenue growth and 21% in net income in 2011 – its “best year ever for new sales including new mandates in custody and fund administration, clearing and settlement, collateral management, servicing and securities lending”, says Colle, chief executive of BNP Paribas Securities
