RBC Investor Services has appointed Germain Birgen as head of client solutions, Europe (excluding Luxembourg), alongside Richard Clarke, who joins as head of client design. Both will report to Tim Wood, head of global client solutions.

Birgen will be based in Luxembourg, and will lead the client solutions teams throughout Europe. He joins RBC from HSBC Securities Services Luxembourg, where he launched and headed up the fund solutions division in addition to the Islamic finance committee.
