US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chairman Rostin Behnam has said he is “not banking” on Congress passing the legislation needed to establish which agency should have the authority to regulate cryptocurrency markets, and he therefore expects to rely on the current tools available to police the asset class for the time being.
