Culture assessment starts at recruitment, SFC's Nolens says

The first indicators of corporate culture are in the recruitment process, according to the keynote speaker at the OpRisk Asia conference in Singapore today. Bénédicte Nolens, head of risk and strategy at the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, said a key indicator for regulators of how seriously a firm takes ethical and cultural issues comes from the interview procedure.
