According to its motto, Mauritius is the “star and key of the Indian Ocean”. For investors it is quickly establishing itself as the place to be to take advantage of opportunities in India and Africa.

The small volcanic island has become a significant player in the global investment industry over recent years, thanks mainly to a government that has been aggressively pursuing double-taxation treaties and a regulator keen to make sure the terms of those treaties are met.
