Would-be Sefs await CFTC proposals

The CFTC announces its proposals on swap execution facilities on December 9, which could trigger a race to meet the new definition.

UPDATE, December 10: The CFTC has delayed discussion of core principles and other requirements for swap execution facilities until December 16. "We had calendared for today discussions of swap execution facilities. I've also always said to the press: we're human. So as chair I decided this morning we're going to take that one up next week." said CFTC chairman Gary Gensler.
