JPM's Odyssey: JP Morgan has gone live with Odyssey, an internally developed global swaps processing system. Sources say the mammoth application automates the management of JP Morgan's entire interest rate derivatives book, allowing the bank to introduce new exotic instruments swiftly and without significant increases in middle and back office processing costs (Derivatives & Risk Technology, February 2).
