Credit Suisse names Abbasi as new Asia chief executive
Hans-Ulrich Doerig, chairman of Credit Suisse, said the appointment will further strengthen the bank's management team in the Asia Pacific, a key growth region for the Swiss banking group.
Credit Suisse has appointed Osama Abbasi to take over as chief executive of the Asia-Pacific region from Kai Nargolwala, who will become the bank's chairman of Asia Pacific, a newly created role. Both appointments will be effective on October 1.
Abbasi, currently head of the equities department of the investment bank in Asia Pacific, will join the group's executive board. He will be responsible
