Credit Suisse backs Italian ETF roll-out with new hire

Credit Suisse has appointed Enrico Camerini to the helm of its new Italian exchange-traded fund (ETF) business, Xmtch. The bank has tapped Unicredit for the hire, where Camerini was previously head of Italy on the ETF Advisory and Trading desk.

Credit Suisse took its Xmtch franchise onto the Italian Borse in October 2009 with the launch of 17 cash-based ETFs. It is the first time it has ventured outside Switzerland with its ETF business, which has raised €6 billion since its inception eight
