New Year cheer at fund managers

For many buy-siders across Europe, the start of the New Year has coincided with a spate of new hires. The number of appointments in the fund manager community rose dramatically last month, and an extended game of industry musical chairs has led to a series of switches.

Caroline Brown, who came second in Credit’s Analysts of the Year 2002 awards in the high-yield industrials category when she was at Goldman Sachs, last month joined Morley Fund Management as head of credit analysis. Brown joins
