ING hires head of financial markets in Taiwan

ING Financial Markets has hired Jeson Yih-Liang Liu, as director and head of financial markets in Taiwan. Liu will report to Percy Rueber, head of financial markets, Asia and Wu Ching-mai, country manager for Taiwan.

Lui will help to expand the bank’s business in Taipei by increasing ING’s presence in the local currency foreign exchange, derivatives and debt markets. He also plans to grow the range and complexity of structured products offered to the bank’s institutional and corporate client base.

Lui joins ING from TaipeiBank, where he was senior vice-president and general manager of the Taiwanese bank's treasury and offshore banking division for the past three years. Prior to this, he spent 11 years at Dutch bank ABN Amro, also in Taipei, where his last role was head of treasury marketing and derivatives.
