Lehman names commodities head

Lehman Brothers has named Satu Parikh global head of commodities.

Parikh, formerly head of Asian liquid markets, will move from Tokyo to New York. He will be replaced by Thomas Siegmund, who was previously head of European swaps and governments in London.

The bank has also recruited Brian Manson as the new head of North American natural gas trading. The former chief executive of TD Energy will be based in New York and report to Parikh.

Meanwhile, Kieran Higgins, head of options and exotics trading for Europe, will also take over responsibility for European swaps and government trading.
