SG CIB appoints global head of export finance

Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SG CIB) has appointed Denis Stas de Richelle as global head of export finance. He has replaced Frédéric Genet, who has become senior banker within the corporates, institutions and advisory division.

Based in Paris, Stas de Richelle reports to Olivier Khayat and Jean-Luc Parer, heads of the capital-raising and financing division. Stas de Richelle joined Société Générale in 1990 as a corporate banking director in Belgium. In 2001, he was named deputy global head of export finance at SG CIB.

Genet, who is also based in Paris, will manage global relationships with French and international corporations and financial institutions within the bank’s corporates, institutions and advisory division. He will report to the co-heads of the global corporates, institutions and advisory division, Thierry Aulagnon and Benoit Ottenwaelter.
