Wilson takes over as Dresdner's risk chief

Thomas Wilson has succeeded Otto Steinmetz as chief risk officer of Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt, after Steinmetz retired earlier this month.

Wilson will remain as chief risk officer of Allianz, the insurance and banking group that owns Dresdner, a role he has held since joining Allianz in October last year.

Steinmetz joined Dresdner in June 2003 as chief risk officer, moving from Deutsche Bank. He has also served as chiarman of Allianz's Climate Solutions division from 2005.
