The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been transformed over the past year due in part to the appointment and confirmation of Mary Jo White as the chair of the regulator in April 2013. The first six months of this year have provided an enlightening window into the priorities of White and the SEC for the remainder of the year and beyond.
