US Senate Committee promises to push Justice Department to prosecute more evaders

In the wake of a highly critical US Senate report accusing the bank of aiding tax evasion, senior executives from Credit Suisse faced aggressive questioning in Washington, DC today.

The hearing, in front of the US Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, follows the release of a report detailing how Credit Suisse had held undeclared accounts for more than 22,000 US customers, totalling up to $12 billion of assets,"the vast majority undeclared".
