Projecting how a company's future capital requirements will change over time and capturing data from stress tests present significant challenges for insurers in the development of their Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (Orsa), delegates at Insurance Risk North America heard.

The Orsa process requires insurers to project future capital requirements over the next one to three years, taking into account the business plan of the organisation.
