Madoff deputy pleads guilty
NEW YORK - Bernard Madoff's former deputy has pleaded guilty to being involved in the Ponzi scheme operated by the Wall Street investment manager.
Frank DiPascali, who was chief financial officer (CFO) at Madoff Investment Securities, admitted guilty to 10 charges including money laundering, securities fraud and conspiracy at the Manhattan Federal Court on August 12.
He faces a notional maximum sentence of 125 years in prison but has agreed to co-operate with prosecutors in return for more
